Pó de Vir a Ser joined the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Henri Lefebvre’s book “The Right to the City” with a free political and social exercise on the crisis of the city, and on imagination in (and of) the city and urban life. During the course of four gatherings, we drifted around the city, through the “urban condition”, through the “human condition” of the city. With Susana Mourão, we traveled the paths that lead from the city of ruins to the invisible city, from the gentrified and commodified city to the simulacrum-city. We knocked on the door of the tension between dream and practice, and we mapped our reflection about the city and those who inhabit it.
